DID YOU KNOW? Your smartphone or tablet's home screen isn't just for apps. You can add you favorite websites to your home screen so you can quickly access them. Three popular pages to save would be the home page, the beginning prayers page and the audio rosaries pages. Android Open the web page that you want to add to your home screen. Tap the menu button. ( Three vertical dots at the top right on my phone) Tap add to home screen. Keep the same name or give the icon a new name then tap "add". You'll now have a shortcut on your phone to that page. Move it wherever you want on your home screen. Use the same menu button to share with your friends by text message, email, facebook or twitter. iPhone or iPad Navigate to the web page that you want to add to your home screen. Tap the Share button. (The rectangle with the arrow pointing up) Tap the Add to Home Screen icon in the Share menu. Give it a name and your new shortcut can be dragged around and placed wherever you want on your home screen. Use the same menu button to share with your friends by text message, email, facebook or twitter. On a Computer You can bookmark your favorite page. Or, you can put your curser on the lock in the url then drag it to your desktop by holding a right click and then dragging where you want it. Real easy if you have more than one monitor. If you just have one, decrease the page first then grab and drag to the part of the desktop you can still see. That's it! Hope you take advantage of this tip and visit the site and your favorite pages more often! Thanks again for your support of the site and its mission. God Bless! |
